The Ambassador

Ursula Höfter Zuccoli is born in Volkenschwand – Bayern – Germany. She completed the school of master tailoring in 1982 and worked at an Haute Couture fashion house in Florence. In 1983 she opened her own Haute Couture atelier in Munich. Mother of two children, she was married for 30 years with Camillo Zuccoli, former Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Bulgaria for 12 years.

Over the course of these 12 years, she was involved in her husband’s diplomatic duties. Mrs. Zuccoli accompanied him in every official event in Sofia and in Bulgaria and was very active in support of orphan children, the weekly distribution of hot meals to homeless people and refugees in Sofia as well as the distribution of medical equipment to regional hospitals in various Bulgarian communities.
Ursula Hofter Zuccoli presented her letters of credence as Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the President of Bulgaria Rumen Georgiev Radev on 20 june 2019.

From the beginning of her diplomatic activity in Bulgaria H.E. Höfter Zuccoli has been very active in promoting the social projects of the Embassy including donating of food packages for poor people, different projects for disadvantaged children including the donation of specialised medical equipment.
