In March, the Embassy supported Gabriela Mladenova from Pernik, who recently lived in a family-type accommodation centre in the city. She has completed her schooling, secured employment, and has moved into a new home provided by the municipality, renovated with support from sponsors.
Since 2023, the Embassy has been cooperating with the organization Tangra and football manager Viktor Kirkov to organize free football training sessions for children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the Fakulteta neighborhood.
This winter as well, the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta has continued the Basic Goods Project - an initiative through which food packages are distributed to socially disadvantaged families, people with disabilities, elderly individuals, and single persons with very low incomes.
