As the cold weather approaches, the Order of Malta is once again helping the disadvantaged groups by providing basic foodstuffs and hot meals. Thanks to the Basic Good Project, which has been running since 2020, the Order of Malta provides food for poor people and disadvantaged families. Together with the help of the amazing volunteers, food packages are prepared for 100 people every two weeks. In collaboration with Caritas Sofia and the Italian restaurant Da Mamma Carla & Fabio, the Order of Malta also carried out a hot lunch distribution for the homeless people at the Women’s Market in Sofia. On cold winter days a hot meal is a gesture of real good for these people. Together we can do more!
